Mirror Shard | 1000 Diamonds > Removes 1 gene OR adds 1 NON-HEREDITARY* gene or mutation to an NPC or Lead (example: Black tobiano, Ee/aa/nTb becomes Black tovero, Ee/aa/nTb/nO OR becomes Bay tobiano, Ee/AA/nTb. It won't look like this though! Visualized for clarity on what the item does. In reality, we will add a note below the geno that states what has been added. The geno itself will remain unchanged.)
In the case of a gene removal, the specified gene will be gone entirely, and a note will be added stating which gene was removed. Example: black tobiano, Ee/aa/nTb becomes black, Ee/aa OR becomes chestnut tobiano, ee/aa/nTb
In the case of leads, we ask that make this change yourself. It must be done the same way it is done for NPCs. Attempting to cheat around this results in a warning.
*Non-hereditary meaning that the new gene will NOT pass to foals. The geno will remain the same, it is a purely cosmetic change. Closed colours, markings, or mutations can not be added. Chimera is not allowed.
Design must be changed accordingly, one use. This item may only be used a maximum of FOUR times per equine.

Rose Quartz Conversion
A new way to gain rose quartz is by trading in your diamonds for rose quartz! Since it's so rare, it is an expensive transaction though.
You can trade the same way you would make any other Volundr's Shop purchase. Diamonds may also be converted into rose quartz the same way!
